Ilion Analytics is a data analytics, data engineering, and financial risk consulting firm founded in 2017 in Johannesburg, with a second office in Cape Town. We work with financial institutions — from South African retail banks and insurers to pan-African groups and European lenders — on the problems where data, technology and regulation intersect.

Our team of data professionals is built differently from a typical consultancy bench. Most have worked inside financial institutions before joining Ilion — in risk functions, data teams, and technology divisions. That background means they understand the operating environment, not just the tooling.
